BIOGRAPHY
Hajime Nakatomi born in 1974,Osaka,Japan.
I encountered Bamboo Art at the university where I studied business, and the beauty had a great impact on me. The impact changed the course of my career. I had studied the basis of bamboo craft at the Beppu Occupational school for two years. Thereafter I had become an apprentice to bamboo expert, Syoryu Honda for three years. At present straddling the line between traditional style and contemporary of bamboo art, I exhibit my works at many exhibitions. I stood on my own feet in 2005. I live in Taketa city on Oita Prefecture which being in the southern island in Japan.
